Too many thoughts running round my poor little head. Too many options too many possibilities, gives me terrible headaches. I think nearly everyone sometimes would really like to just get away from everything in life, get in a car and just drive, somewhere where no-one knew you, where you could forget everything that happens. I guess escapism is good in some situations, but not in every single one of them. Sometimes we just have to be still and remember that God is sovereign and to place our trust in him, something which i was kindly reminded of by a friend this week =)
After a quite hectic week it was really nice to just relax and enjoy the weekend and its fine weather =), i did plan to just enjoy a nice walk through the city by myself, do a bit of shopping and maybe end up in the botanical gardens with my book and mp3 player and a much needed bottle of coke but fate had other plans, quite nice ones, and i ended up spending the day with a mate who i accidentally ran into. It was really nice to spend time with someone who i don't get to usually see, and just chill and hang out getting to know one another, i'm very thankful for that =), additionally my books finally came in the mail from the UK, all in less than a week! whoohoo!! i've started reading fiction books again after a loooong long time haha granted it is just a Dr Who fiction book, but still, i suppose its the effort that counts hahaha.
One of my shopping purchases on saturday included a piano book, given i have a bit of free time nowadays after work, i decided to start playing the piano again as my one at home is quite literally sitting collecting dust. I hope to get back my previous skill fairly quickly as i really do miss the sound and the music. On that note i'll leave with a youtube vid that i found yesterday, its a basic demo vid for some roland piano, but i really liked the music that the guy was playing, just so soothing...anyways, here it is!
